Viewing Alarms

Alarms can be viewed using any alarm viewer such as the Common Alarm Service (CAS) view in CygNet Explorer or a CygNet CAS View Control (an ActiveX control) on a CygNet Studio/Vision screen. The graphical user interface is identical in all locations with the same functions.

If you do not see an expected alarm in the alarm view, check to make sure that:

• The alarm is configured to report to the CAS
• The alarm is not hidden
• The alarm is not suppressed
• The alarm view filter is not filtering out the alarm
